Items that don't arrive as advertised

If you receive an item that is broken or not as advertised, it can be returned for a full refund. SidelineSwap can also issue a partial refund, as agreed upon between you and the Seller. Within 72 hours of receiving the item, click "Mark as Received" OR "Accept or Reject Item" on the swap page, then "No, Not as Advertised", and explain your dispute.

Once a dispute is opened and determined to be legitimate,

1. Negotiate a partial refund with the Seller. Once you've both agreed to it in messaging, we'll apply the refund to your card. This is the recommended option, as it saves the Buyer the hassle of returning the item.
2. Return the item to the Seller for a full refund. You will be provided a prepaid return shipping label if it's determined that the item is not as advertised.

Ultimately, SidelineSwap is a community and Sellers are typically eager to work with Buyers to make things right.
